Hello my name is Helena. I am from Ontario Canada. Teaching is my passion. I am currently working on my Bachelor’s degree in Education. I am also TESOL / TEFEL certified. I am a highly capable and effective teacher using various teaching styles and techniques to ensure my students grasp all of our concepts during our lessons.
I love to travel as I have visited many different parts of the world including China. I am fluent in written and spoken English, as well as Spanish and Portuguese, so I understand the challenges that come with learning a second language.
I am also married to a wonderful man named Mark and I have a beautiful dog named Sasha
CIRRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
Curriculum materials available for classes include Wonders, Treasures, Wonder Skills, Wonder reader, National Geographic readers etc… I will continue to explore other curriculums and will find the best fit for your young learner. I aim to make our classes fun and engaging so that your child can practice their conversational English. They will also practice and expand on their vocabulary, proper sentence structure, grammar and reading skills. I will make sure that they will have plenty of opportunities for oral communication and make any corrections on grammar and pronunciation errors they might make.
